Check of a brake shoe
Periodically examine overlays of a block (2) according to the maintenance schedule, each time when wheels (for check of rotation of tires or for other reasons act in film).

- Look through an opening in a support and check thickness of a slip in a block.
- If one of brake shoes is worn-out to a limit, it is necessary to replace all slips at the same time.
- Thickness of a forward brake shoe of "e":
- Standard: 10.0 mm (0.39 inches)
- Wear limit: 2.0 mm (0.08 inches)
