Check and adjustment

Stravlivaniye of air from brakes

Brake liquid is very dangerous to paint. If liquid casually got on the painted surface, immediately erase brake liquid and clear the painted surface.


If the vehicle is equipped with ABS, be convinced that the ignition switch is disconnected.

Surely pit air from brake system as shown below when the oil hydraulic actuator is disconnected Hydraulic highways of brake system consist of two separate contours, one for brakes of forward wheels, another for brakes of back wheels. Air it is necessary for Stravlivaniye for a brake of the right and left forward wheel, a brake of the left back wheel and LSPV (if the car has no ABS), i.e. in 4 places (3 places for vehicles with ABS).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fill a tank of the main cylinder with brake liquid and support it filled in at least half during an air stravlivaniye.
  1. Remove a spuskny stopper of a safety valve (1).
  1. Attach a vinyl tube (2) to a spuskny stopper of a safety valve of the brake cylinder, and insert other end into a vessel (3).
  1. Press several times on the brake lever, and then, holding the lever in the pressed condition, release a spuskny stopper of a safety valve approximately on one third half of a turn.
  1. When pressure of liquid in the cylinder is reduced to a minimum, tighten a trigger stopper of a safety valve.
  1. Repeat operation until in the hydraulic line there will be no air vials.
  1. When vials will disappear, press and hold the brake lever and tighten a trigger stopper of a safety valve.
  • Inhaling torque
    • Forward brake
    • Back brake
      • Trigger stopper of a safety valve of the wheel cylinder (a): 7.5 N • m (0.75 kg-m, 5.5 pounds on foot)
      • Trigger stopper of a safety valve of LSPV (if the car is equipped with it): 7.5 N • m (0.75 kg-m, 5.5 pounds on foot)
  1. Then attach a trigger stopper of a safety valve.
  1. After an air stravlivaniye, submit pressure of liquid to the pipeline and check, whether there is no leak.
  1. Fill up liquid level in a tank to the specified level.
  2. Check the brake lever on "softness". If the lever "soft", repeat procedure of a stravlivaniye of air.
