The centering contact coil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Be convinced that forward wheels of the car are directed directly forward.
  2. Be convinced that the switch of ignition is in the situation "LOCK".
  3. Slowly with easy effort turn the contact coil counter-clockwise against the stop.

The contact coil can turn approximately at most on 5 turns that is when it is in the central situation, it can turn on two and a half turns on and counter-clockwise.

  1. From this situation when the coil stopped and does not move further, turn it back clockwise approximately on two and a half turns and combine the central label with a leveling label (1).
  1. Turn slowly while the coil will not stop.
    2 — Not a cabriolet
    3 — the Cabriolet
  1. Turn the coil back approximately on 2.5 turns.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Be convinced that forward wheels of the car are directed directly forward, and the contact coil is in the central situation.

These two conditions are necessary for installation of a steering wheel. If a steering wheel to establish, without having met these conditions, the contact coil will break at turn of a steering wheel.

  1. Establish a steering wheel on a steering shaft, having got two teeth of the contact coil to two grooves on a back part of a steering wheel and having combined labels on a steering wheel and steering to a shaft.
  2. Tighten a nut of a steering shaft to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: nut of a steering shaft (a): 33 N • m (3.3 kg-m, 23.5 pounds foots).
  3. Establish the module (having inflated) safety cushions of the driver on a steering wheel. See in this Chapter the Section Module (having inflated) pillows of the driver.
