At work with the module (naduvy) cм safety cushions. preventions at the beginning of this Chapter also observe all instructions. Non-compliance with instructions can lead to module damage (надува) safety cushions or cause a trauma. |
Removal
|
|
- Disconnect "minus" a battery cable.
- Disconnect safety cushion system. cм. preventions at the beginning of this Chapter.
- Weaken 2 bolts (1), fixing the module (having inflated) safety cushions of the driver until it will freely not turn, take out them and fix in clips.
- Remove the module (having inflated) safety cushions from a steering wheel.
- Remove from a steering wheel a cable (1) module (надува) safety cushions of the driver (yellow) and a cable (2) sound signals.
- Disconnect a module cable (надува) safety cushions of the driver (yellow) and a cable of a sound signal.
- Remove blocking of the lever or release the blocking button.
- After an unblocking disconnect a cable.

At the address and storage of the "live" (not worked) module (надува) safety cushions extra care is necessary. See preventions at the beginning of this Chapter. Otherwise, traumas are possible. |

Survey
|
|
Never assort the module (having inflated) safety cushions and do not check its durability. Otherwise it is possible to be traumatized. |
|
|
If the module (having inflated) safety cushions to drop from height of 90 cm (3 foots) or more, it is necessary to replace it. |
Check the module (having inflated) safety cushions visually, and replace it new if will find any of the following:
- The safety cushion worked.
- Finishing covering (slip surface) (1) it is burst.
- Wires (3) or plugs are damaged.
- The module (having inflated) safety cushions (2) it is damaged or has strong blow (falling).

Installation
|
|
- Reliably connect the socket (2) of a sound signal.
- Reliably connect the yellow socket of a cable of the module (надува) safety cushions of the driver (1).
- Connect a cable.
- Block the socket the lever or the blocking button.
- Establish the socket of a sound signal and the module socket (надува) safety cushions of the driver.
- Establish the module (having inflated) safety cushions of the driver (3) on a steering wheel (4), paying attention to that no wires got between them.
- Be convinced that the gap between the module and a steering wheel everywhere is identical.
- At first tighten a fixing bolt (on the left side) (5) modules (надува) safety cushions of the driver to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, then a fixing bolt (on the right side) (6) modules (надува) safety cushions of the driver to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: a fixing bolt of the module (надува) safety cushions of the driver — 9 N • m (0.9 kg-m, 6.5 pounds foots).
