Bottom shaft of a steering
|
|
Never turn a steering wheel at the removed bottom steering shaft. If a steering wheel to turn and bring down from the central situation the contact coil (on podrulevy switches), it again should be aligned. Turn of a steering wheel more, than on two and a half turns will break the contact coil. |
Removal
|
|
- Turn a steering wheel so that forward wheels of the car were directed directly forward.
- Turn the ignition switch in the situation "LOCK" and take out a key.
- Put leveling labels (3) on the coupling of a shaft (2) and a shaft (on the party of the top shaft or on the column party) that on them it is correct to establish into place.

- Having removed a bolt (4) from the shaft coupling from the top shaft or a column and having weakened a bolt (5) from the bottom shaft, pull the coupling of a shaft (2) towards the bottom shaft (as shown shooters in drawing below).

- Put leveling labels on the bottom coupling bottom a shaft of an and a shesterenchaty shaft that on them it is correct to establish.

- Remove a bolt (2) bottom couplings of the bottom shaft, then remove the bottom shaft.
|
- Remove a bolt of the coupling of a shaft (from the bottom shaft) from the shaft coupling, then remove the coupling of a shaft (3) from the bottom shaft (1).
|

Installation
|
|
- Be convinced that forward wheels and a steering wheel are directed directly forward.
|
|
- Combine a flat part of "A" of the bottom shaft with an opening for a bolt of "B" of the coupling of a shaft (2). Then insert the shaft coupling into the bottom shaft.
|
- Establish a bolt of the coupling of a shaft (from the bottom shaft) on the shaft coupling. Tighten manually.
- Insert a shesterenchaty shaft into the bottom coupling of the bottom shaft (2) shlitsa (1) bottom coupling, having combined labels (4) on shesterenchaty to a shaft (5) and a case of a transmission (6).
- Then establish a bolt (3) bottom couplings of the bottom shaft on the bottom coupling of the bottom shaft (2). Tighten to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: bolt of the bottom coupling of the bottom shaft (and): 25 N • m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 pounds foots).

- Establish the coupling of a steering shaft (2) on a steering shaft, having combined the labels (3) put before removal.

- Establish a bolt of the coupling of a shaft (from the top shaft or a column) (2) on the coupling of a shaft (1). At first tighten a bolt of the coupling of a shaft (from a column) (3) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, and then a bolt of the coupling of a shaft (from the bottom shaft) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: bolt of the coupling of a shaft (b): 25 N • m (2.5 kg-m, 18.0 pounds foots).
