Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism, having addressed to the Section the Belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and the tension device for a belt in this Chapter.
  3. Remove the generator and its arm.

At arm installation at first tighten a nut.

  1. Remove a pulley of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the crankshaft (3). To fix the crankshaft, use the special tool (the lock mechanism) with a gear wreath of a flywheel (1) (a wreath of a flywheel of a leading disk for And/t models). Having fixed the crankshaft, remove a bolt of a pulley of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the crankshaft (2). Special tool: (А) — 09927-56010.
  1. Remove an oil pan (3) and a grid of the oil pump (2), having addressed to the Section Oil pan and a grid of the oil pump in this Chapter.

  1. Having turned off bolts (2), remove the unit of the oil pump (1).

Dismantle

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove directing bolt of the index of level of oil (3) and take out the index (2) of the oil pump (1).

  1. Remove a plate of a rotor (1).
  1. Remove an external rotor (1) and an internal rotor (2).

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check an oil edge of consolidation on defects or other damages. If necessary replace.

When put oil laying (1), densely press it adjusting until its end face will not be drowned aflush with an end face of a casing of the oil pump (2).

  1. Check external and internal rotors, a plate of a rotor and a casing of the oil pump about excessive wear or damage.

Measurement

Radial gap

Check a radial gap between an external rotor (1) and a casing, using a kalibromer. If the gap is beyond restrictions, replace an external rotor or a casing. Limits of a radial gap between an external rotor and a casing — 0.310 mm (0.0122 inches).

Lateral gap

Using a kalibromer and a ruler, measure a lateral gap. Limits of a lateral gap — 0.15 mm (0.0059 inches).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Wash out, clean and then dry all disassembled parts.
  2. Put engine oil with a thin layer on external and internal rotors (1), an oil edge of consolidation, and internal surfaces of a casing of the oil pump and a plate.
  1. Establish external and internal rotors (2) on a pump casing.
  1. Establish a rotor plate. Fasten 5 screws (1) to the specified rotating moment. After installation of a plate be convinced that mechanisms smoothly turn a hand. The rotating moment of an inhaling: screws of a plate of the oil pump (and) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).
  1. Put engine oil on a sealant of the index (3) and establish a sealant of the index and the index (2). Fasten directing bolt of the index of level of oil to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: a directing bolt of the index of level of oil (and) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish two hairpins of the oil pump and new laying of the oil pump on the block of cylinders.
  1. Not to damage or to overturn an oil edge of consolidation at installation of the oil pump on the crankshaft, establish the special tool (the index of oil consolidation) on the crankshaft, and put engine oil on the special tool. Special tool: (А) — 09926-18210.
  1. Establish the oil pump on the block of cylinders.
  2. Establish the oil pump on the block of cylinders. As there are two types of bolts of the oil pump, address to drawing in order that it is correct to use them and fasten them to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment затяжки6 a bolt of the oil pump (and) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).

  1. Establish rubber consolidation between the oil pump and the water pump.
  1. Establish a key of a pulley of regulation of the moment of ignition (1) and a pulley of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (2). The correct installation of these parts is shown in drawing. Having fixed the crankshaft, twirl a bolt of a pulley of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (3) by the specified rotating moment.
    • The rotating moment of an inhaling:
      • bolt of a pulley of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (and) — 130 N • m (13.0 kg-m, 94.0 pound on foot)

4 — an adjusting pin (a pin of a pulley of the crankshaft)
5 — a flywheel (a leading disk for And/t)
  1. Establish a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism, the tension device, a grid of the oil pump, an oil pan and the other parts relating to Sections the Belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism and the tension device for a belt and the Oil pan and a grid of the oil pump in this Chapter.
  2. Be convinced of that all removed parts again on a place. Establish all necessary parts which were not established earlier.
  3. Adjust a tension of a belt of a drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the water pump, having addressed to the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in Head engine Cooling.
  4. Adjust a tension of a belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering or a tension of a belt of the compressor for And/t if that is available. Address to the Section Engine in Head Maintenance and greasing.
  5. Fill the engine with engine oil, having addressed to the Section Engine oil and the filter in Head Maintenance and greasing.
  6. Fill the case of forward differential with transmission oil, having addressed to the Section Servicing in Head Forward differential.
  7. Connect a negative cable to the accumulator.
  8. Be convinced of that antifreeze and oil do not leak on each socket.
  9. On termination of installation check pressure of oil, having started the engine.
