Lever of the parking brake
Removal

|
- Disconnect the negative (-) a cable from the battery.
- Stop wheels of a vehicle and release the lever of the parking brake.
- Remove a back central console box.
- Disconnect a wire conclusion of the switch of the parking brake at the linking coupling.
- Remove a lock nut of a cable of the parking brake (1).

- Remove bolts of the lever of the parking brake (4) and then remove assembly of the lever of the parking brake (5) from the balance weight (2) and checks (3).

- Remove the balance weight from a cable of the parking brake (1).

|
Do not assort the switch of the lever of the parking brake. It is necessary to remove and establish it as the uniform block of the switch. |

Installation
Procedure of installation is the procedure of removal which is carried out upside-down.
|
|
- Check a balance weight (2) tilt angle. Balance weight tilt angle: "a" — within 15 degrees. Inhaling torque: a bolt of the lever of the parking brake (a) — 26 N • m (2.6 kg-m, 19.0 pounds foots).

- After all parts are established, the lever of the parking brake is necessary for adjusting.
- Address to the Section Check and adjustment of the parking brake in Head Brake system.
Whether - check there is no jamming of a brake drum and whether the brake system correctly works.
