Belt of the cooling fan

Removal

For G16 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) from the accumulator.
  2. Turn off an adjusting bolt of a driving belt of the pump P/S and then remove a pump P/S belt.
  1. Turn off an adjusting bolt (1) and a sharnirny bolt.
  1. Weaken a belt, having displaced the generator, and then remove it.

For the J20 engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) from the accumulator.
  1. Untwist an adjusting bolt (1) and a sharnirny bolt (2).
  1. Weaken a belt, having displaced a fan pulley.
  2. Remove cooling pump. Simply disconnect the fan/coupling from a fan pulley.
  3. Remove a belt of the cooling fan (3).

Installation

For G16 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a belt on a pulley of the water pump, a pulley of the crankshaft and a generator pulley. Establish a driving belt of the pump P/S.
  2. Adjust a belt tension as it is specified. Address to the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter.
  3. Twirl an adjusting bolt and a sharnirny bolt.
  4. Connect a negative cable (-) to the accumulator.

For the J20 engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a belt to a pulley of the fan and a crankshaft pulley.
  2. Establish cooling fan. Address to the Section the Coupling of the fan of cooling system in this Chapter.
  3. Adjust a belt tension as it is specified. Address to the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter.
  4. Twirl an adjusting bolt and a sharnirny bolt.
  5. Connect a negative cable (-) to the accumulator.

Examine a belt and check a belt tension. Address to the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter.
