Collector of an exhaust system

Components

The car is not equipped with catalytic converter

1 — a collector of an exhaust system
2 — laying of a collector of an exhaust system
3 — the sensor of heating of oxygen - 1

4 — the top cover of a collector of an exhaust system
5 — an element of rigidity of a collector of an exhaust system
6 — the coupling of the sensor of heating of oxygen – 2

The rotating moment of an inhaling.

Not to use repeatedly.

In order to avoid a burn, do not serve an exhaust system, if it still hot. Service should be carried out after the system will be cooled.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative cable from the accumulator.
  1. Disconnect the coupling of the sensor of heating of oxygen-1 (1) and disconnect it from its nest.
  1. Remove the top cover (2) collectors of an exhaust system.
  1. Remove an element of rigidity of a collector of an exhaust system (1) if that is available.
  1. Remove bolts and nuts of a pipe of No. of 1 exhaust system and a bolt of an arm of an exhaust pipe (if that is available).
1 — an exhaust pipe No. 1
  1. Remove a collector of an exhaust system (1) and its laying (2) from a cylinder head.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put new laying (1) on a cylinder head.
  1. Establish a collector of an exhaust system.
  1. Establish a ring sealant and an exhaust pipe No. 1 (1) to a collector of an exhaust system. Before establishing a ring sealant, check it about damage or wear, and if necessary replace. Use new lock-nuts if they are worn-out. Fasten pipe fixture the every rotating moment. The rotating moment of an inhaling: a bolt or a nut of an exhaust pipe No. 1 (and) — 50 N • m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 pounds on foot).
  1. Establish an element of rigidity of a collector of an exhaust system (1) if that is available. Fasten a bolt and a nut of an element of rigidity of a collector of an exhaust system to the specified rotating moment.
  1. Establish the top cover (2) on a collector of an exhaust system.
  1. Connect the coupling (1) sensor of heating of oxygen - 1 and reliably insert the coupling into an arm.
  1. Connect a negative cable to the accumulator.
  2. Check, whether there is no leakage of exhaust gas from an exhaust system.
