Check of operation of the hydraulic ABS block

Using the SUZUKI scanner

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check, whether in a good condition the main brake systems besides ABS.
  1. Check that tension of the battery 11 B or above.
  1. Using an alarm lamp of ABS, check, whether it is revealed deviations in ABS work. Address to the Section Check of codes of diagnostics of malfunctions (KDN) in this Chapter.
  2. Lift a vehicle.
  3. Establish transmission in neutral situation and release the parking brake.
  4. Manually gradually turn each wheel to check, whether there is no brake jamming. If the brake jams, correct.
  1. Connect the SUZUKI scanner to the socket of a data link (DLC) (1) at the switched-off ignition switch. Special tool: (A) — SUZUKI scanner.
  1. Include an ignition switch and check operation of the solenoid in a mode "Other checks" of SUZUKI scanner (MISC.tests).
  1. Check, that each wheel rotated, only at the dumped pressure of brake effort (about 0.5 seconds).
  2. If in this step malfunction is found, replace hydraulic block/assembly of the module of management.
