Service out of a workshop

The shock-absorber is not subject to control, repeated filling and dismantling assembly. The unique form of service of the shock-absorber is its replacement when it loses the amortiziruyushchy ability, is damaged or tests leakage of liquid.

  1. Lift the car and remove a back wheel.
  1. Floor jack (2) prop up the case of the back bridge (1) that it did not fall.
  1. Remove a lock-nut (1) (if is available) and a shock-absorber (2) nut.
  2. Remove the bottom fixing bolt (7).
  3. Remove the shock-absorber (6).
1 — a lock-nut
2 — a shock-absorber nut
3 — the top support
4 — the rubber plug
5 — the bottom support

  1. Establish the shock-absorber. See drawing to establish a fixing bolt in the correct direction.
  2. Clean a jack.
  3. Lower the lift.
  4. Tighten nuts to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling.
    • Inhaling moment:
      • nut of the shock-absorber (a): 29 N • m (2.9 kg-m, 21.0 pound foot)
      • lock-nut of the shock-absorber (b): 29 N • m (2.9 kg-m, 21.0 pound foot)
      • bottom nut of the shock-absorber (c): 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m 72.5 pounds foots)

Tighten the bottom nut when the car is removed from the lift and is in not loaded condition.
