Exhaust system

Check

In order to avoid receiving burns, on concern components of an exhaust system while it did not cool down. Any works on an exhaust system should be carried out should be carried out, when it cold.

At carrying out periodic servicing or the car was lifted for carrying out other works, check an exhaust system the next way:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check rubber fastenings on damages, wear, shift.
  1. Check an exhaust system on a leakage, weakening of fastenings, dents and damages.
  2. If bolts or nuts weakened, tighten them according to the specification.
  3. Check nearby places of a body on the damages, absent parts, cracks, the hollows, the weakened connections or other defects, allowing to get to gases in car salon.
  4. Make sure that components of an exhaust system have a sufficient gap with the body bottom, in order to avoid an overheat and possible damages of a floor covering
  5. Any found malfunctions should be eliminated immediately.
