|
|
At carrying out road checks, will choose a safe place, where nearby there are no people and moving cars not to allow failure. |
Seats
Check that seats move smoothly and are fixed in any position. Also check that the inclined mechanism of a back of a seat allows to fix it at any angle.
Seat belts
|
|
- Check system of seat belts, including tapes, fasteners, locks, natyazhitel and anchors on damage and wear. If «REPLACE BELT» label on forward seat belts is visible, replace a belt.
- Check that belts are reliably latched.
|
|
Check of level of electrolit in joint stock bank
Check that electrolit level is in all cells in the middle, between marks of the minimum and maximum levels in the battery case. If the battery is equipped with the built-in indicator, check a condition of batteries on the indicator.
Action of a pedal of gas
Check that the pedal works smoothly without obstacles and nothing stirs it to a course.
Engine start

|
- Check the engine on fast start.
|
|
Before performance of the current check, make sure that there is a sufficient space round the car. Then strongly press a brake pedal, including the hand brake. Do not press a gas pedal. If the engine was got, be ready to switch off ignition at once. Observe these security measures, because the car can suddenly get under way from a place, both put traumas to the personnel and damage property. |
- On cars from AKPP, try to get the engine in all positions of the handle of gear shifting. The engine should be started only in positions «P» (Parking) or «N» (Neutral).
- On cars from RKPP, place the gear shifting lever in neutral situation, completely squeeze out a pedal of coupling and try to start the engine.

Check of an exhaust system
|
|
- Check on a leakage, cracks and weakening of fastenings.
- Coupling (for cars with RKPP)
- Check existence of the following conditions:
- Coupling is completely wrung out by pressing a coupling pedal
- The frictional coupling does not slip when squeezing coupling and at acceleration.
- In work of the coupling there are no anomalies.

Lever of gear shifting or handle of the selector of transfers
|
|
- Check the lever of gear shifting or the handle of the selector of transfers on smooth switching in all positions and correct work of a check point in all modes.
- At the car equipped with automatic transmission, also check that the indicator of transfers correctly shows a position in which to be the selector handle.
- At the car equipped with automatic transmission check that at mode "P" inclusion the car motionlessly costs at the released pedal of a brake and not tightened hand brake.

Brakes
Foot brake
Check the following:
- The pedal has an appropriate course.
- Brakes correctly work.
- There are no extraneous noise.
- The brake effort is evenly distributed on all wheels.
- Brakes not клинит.
Parking brake
|
|
- Check that the lever has an appropriate course.
|
|
If the car is parked on quite abrupt slope, check that on its way there are no hindrances to avoid damages and property damage. Be ready to apply quickly the main brake in case the car starts to roll down. |
- Make sure that the parking brake effectively works at a steady slope at completely extended lever of the parking brake.
|
|
Steering
|
|
- Make sure that the steering wheel has no люфтов and freely rotates.
- Be convinced that the car does not ransack and that does not pull it aside.
|
|
Engine
|
|
- Check that the engine quickly responds on a gas pedal at work on any speeds.
- Check that in the engine there are no extraneous noise, and uncharacteristic vibrations.
|
|
Body, wheels, and transfer system
Check that the body, wheels and transfer system do not publish uncharacteristic noise and do not cause vibrations.
Measuring devices and control sensors
Check that the speedometer, the odometer, the fuel level sensor, the temperature sensor etc. show adequate information.
Lighting
Check operability of all lighting devices
Windscreen heater
Periodically check, whether air from a heater blows at the included heater or the conditioner. Will choose the DEF mode and expose a regulator of speed обдува in the situation "MAX" for check.
