Removal
|
|
- Lift a vehicle and remove a wheel.
- Remove an assembly bolt of a flexible hose of a brake (3) from a support (1). As thus liquid can flow out from a hose (2), prepare and hold near at hand (5).

- Remove bolts of a pin of a support or bolts of a pin of a sled of a support.
|
- Remove a support.
|
|
Dismantling
|
|
- Before analysis, clear everything round a support of brake liquid.
- Remove sound-proof laying (if the car is equipped with it) and submit the compressed air to the cylinder through an opening for a bolt where the flexible hose fastened. At such pressure of air pressure, the piston can be вытолкнут from the cylinder.
|
|
Do not submit the too strongly compressed air which the piston can force to jump out of the cylinder. It should be taken out, using moderately compressed air. Do not undertake fingers a forward part of the piston when use the compressed air. |

|
- Remove piston consolidation, using a thin edge, for example, щуп, etc.
|
|

|
Survey

Piston consolidation
|
|

Assembly
Collect a forward brake as it should be, the return to analysis, pay attention to the following.
|
|
- Wash out each part absolutely before placing it in the same liquid that is used in a tank of the main cylinder.
- Never use other liquids or a thinner.
- Before installation of the piston and piston consolidation in the cylinder, fill them with liquid.
- After assembly of brake highways, pit from them air.
|
Piston consolidation
Consolidation of the piston is used for piston and cylinder consolidation and gap adjustment between a block and a disk. At each partition change consolidations for the new. Establish piston consolidation in a cylinder groove carefully not to bend it.
Piston and boot

|
|
- Before a piston (2) insert in the cylinder, establish a boot (1) on the piston.
|
|
|
- Establish a boot as in item 1, in a boot groove in the cylinder, holding it fingers. Check and be convinced that the boot completely rose in a groove in the cylinder on all circle.
|
|
|
- Insert the piston into the cylinder hands and establish a boot in a boot groove in the piston.
|
|
|
- To be convinced that the boot rose in a cylinder groove properly, extend the piston from the cylinder a little, but do not take out completely.

- Establish soundproofing laying if the car is equipped with it.
|
|
|
Support
|
|
Before support installation (the cylinder case) in the holder, check and be convinced that the pin of a sled or a bolt of a pin of the sled, inserted in the holder of each support, can smoothly in the direction of axial loading. |
|
|
|
|
If the temperature falls to cold weather to-30 ° C, use the rubber greasing which viscosity changes even at-40 ° C (-40°F) a little. |

Installation
|
|
|
|
- Establish a support in the holder of a support. The torque of an inhaling of bolts of a pin of a support (or bolts of a pin of a sled of a support) (1) should correspond to specifications.
|
- Inhaling torque:
- support of a brake of "TOKIKO"
- bolt of a pin of a support (a), (b): 27 N • m (2.7 kg-m, 20.0 pounds foots)
- support of a brake of "SUMITOMO"
- bolt of a pin of a sled of a support (M 10) (a): 50 N • m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 pounds foots)
- bolt of a pin of a sled of a support (M 12) (b): 85 N • m (8.5 kg-m, 61.5 pounds foots)

Be convinced that boots reliably rose in a groove. |
|
|
- Establish a flexible hose of a brake and tighten a bolt of a hose (1) with an inhaling torque
according to the specification. Inhaling torque: bolt of a flexible hose (b): 23 N • m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 pounds foots).
|
|
|
- The torque of an inhaling of wheel nuts should correspond to the specification. Inhaling torque: wheel nut (c): 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds foots).
|
- After completion of installation, fill a tank with brake liquid and pit air from brake system. Perform check of work of a brake and check all established parts about leakage of oil.
