Replacement

|
- Remove a console box and lift casings No. 2 and No. 3 levers of a transmission as it is described in Head the Mechanical transmission (type 1), in the Section the gear shifting Lever.
- Remove a casing No. 2 (4) of the lever of transfers, disconnect wires on the transfer case to release it, and extend a fitting (1).
- Replace the switch of a full drive (3) and connect, as was originally. Moment of an inhaling (a): 20 N • m (2.0 kg-m, 14.5 pounds foots).

- Turn on the ignition switch, switch the gear shifting lever in situation 4WD (a full drive) and check, that the indicator burned. After check switch off the switch.

- At removal and installation of the switch be accurate, that the dust did not get in a transmission.
- Do not forget to establish a clip on wires which are located so that them it is not visible.
- It is recommended to work with a casing of No. of 1 lever of gear shifting from the bottom access when the car is lifted.

Check
|
|
- Disconnect a clip and a fitting of the switch of a full drive.
- Operation of the switch (2) switchings of a full drive can be checked.

- On these contacts there should be a conductivity when the lever of switching is switched in situation 4H and 4L.
- On termination of check connect a fitting and a clip of wires as was originally.

At replacement of the switch be accurate, that the dust did not get to transfer through a switch opening. |
