Check of a rim, nut and bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check each rim on dents, deformations and cracks. It is necessary to replace strongly damaged disk.
  1. Check, how wheel nuts are tightened, and, if necessary, tighten them to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: wheel nuts (a): 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds foots).
  1. Check wear of the bearing of a wheel. Having tightened a lock-nut to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, put the measuring device with the dial to the center of a nave of a wheel and measure axial люфт. Limit axial люфта wheel bearing: 0.05 mm (0.002 inches).
  1. If results of measurement exceed a limit, replace the bearing.
  1. Povrashchayte a wheel to check noise existence in the bearing and smoothness of rotation. If defect is found, replace the bearing.
