Check of a rim, nut and bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check each rim on existence of dents, deformations and cracks. It is necessary to replace strongly damaged disk.
  1. Check an inhaling of nuts of a nave of a wheel and, if necessary, tighten to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: a nut of a wheel (a) — 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds foots).
  1. Check wheel bearings on wear. To measure люфт, remove from the wheel middle a cap and put the device with the dial to the bridge center. Border люфта wheel bearing: 0.8 mm (0.03 inches).
  1. If measurement exceeds this border, replace the bearing.
  1. Rotating a wheel, check the bearing on noise and smoothness of rotation. If defect is found, replace the bearing.
