- Remove facing of a rear bumper.
- Disconnect a rubber sealant (3) from the car.
- Separate the socket (2) of the fuel pump/sensor.
- Include ignition and check that the indicator of level of fuel shows an empty tank.
- Switch off ignition.
- Earth Bl/W wire through a test bulb of 3.4 W (4).
- Include ignition and check that the bulb lit up, and the indicator of level of fuel (5) shows a full tank.
- If the indicator of level of fuel does not react, replace it or defective units.
