Diagnostics system on a board (for the cars equipped with the socket for the monitor)

For the monitoring system of an automatic transmission the electronic control unit has following functions.

When the ignition key turns on at the switched-off engine, the lamp of the indicator of malfunction (MIL) for check of a bulb of the indicator joins.

When the electronic control unit finds malfunction in an electronic control system of switching, it keeps a malfunction code in the memory. (Memory remains in that look in what it is even if malfunction was only temporary and right there disappeared. And it is not erased until the electronic control unit will not be switched off not less, than for 30 seconds).

It is possible to receive information and via the diagnostic socket (DLC) with the help not only the scanning SUZUKI tool (Tech - 2), but also the universal scanning tool. (Diagnostic information can be estimated by means of the scanning tool).

It is possible to receive information and without the scanning tool. The electronic control unit keeps a malfunction zone in memory, and during check (that is when the terminal of the switch of diagnostics is earthed and the switch of ignition is switched on) the bulb of the indicator of malfunction blinks.
