Excessively charged battery


  1. To define a battery condition, refer to the Section Battery.
  2. If the electrolit that is an obvious sign of excessively charged battery proceeds, measure tension in the generator plug B at speed of the engine of 2000 rpm.
  3. If the tension measured by you is higher than an extreme top point, start generator dismantling as it is described in the Section Generator.
  4. Check grounding of brushes. If brushes are not earthed, replace IC regulator.
  5. Then check an excitement winding on grounding and short circuit (see. Undressed Visual survey).
