Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. At the disconnected ignition, remove ECM (or PCM).
  2. Remove the resistor of an advancing of ignition (2).

Survey

Measure resistance of the resistor of an advancing of ignition, using an ohmmeter.

Depending on number on the resistor of an advancing of ignition, value of the resistor change as follows (see tab. below).

If result of check not satisfactory, replace the resistor of an advancing of ignition.

For installation execute removal procedure upside-down.
