Check of a diagnostic code of malfunctions (KDN)
With SUZUKI scanner use
|
- To prepare the SUZUKI scanner.
|
- At the switched-off ignition to attach the device to the socket of a data link (efficiency) (1) being under the dashboard from a chair of the driver. Additional device (And): SUZUKI scanner.
|
- Include ignition.
- Read the diagnostic code of malfunction represented on the display of the SUZUKI scanner and unpack it or write down.
- For additional information see. Directory of the mechanic.
- If information transfer process between the control unit of body electronics and the SUZUKI scanner is impossible, check, whether this process with the control unit on other car is carried out.
- If information transfer process in this case is carried out, the SUZUKI scanner is in good repair. Then check the socket of a data link and the consecutive chain being in the car from which process of information transfer it was not possible to carry out.
- After completion of check, switch off ignition and disconnect the SUZUKI scanner from the data link socket.

Without SUZUKI scanner use
|
|
- Check that with inclusion of ignition the Hours/speed display turned on also.
|
- Using a repair wire (2), earth contact of the diagnostic switchboard in a place of control connection (3).
- At the included ignition and the idle engine, read KDN represented on the Hours/speed display. Find compliance in the Table of a diagnostic code of malfunction (KDN).
- After check will be finished, switch off ignition and disconnect a repair wire from a place of control connection.
