Dismantling/assembly

Removal
|
|
- The special tool (A) hold a flywheel motionlessly and remove bolts of a cover of coupling (1), a cover of coupling (2) and a coupling disk. Special tool (A): 09924-17810.
|
|
- By means of the special tool (B) and a wrench (2) pull out the bearing of a leading shaft (1).
- Special tool:
- (B): 09917-58010 (G16 engine)
- (B): 09923-73210 (J20 engines)
|
- Remove the bearing of switching off of coupling and a switching off fork.
|
|
Check
Bearing of a leading shaft and bearing of switching off of coupling
Check the bearing on smoothness of rotation and replace it if malfunction is found.
Coupling disk
|
Measure depth of drowning of rivets, that is distance between a head of a rivet and a working surface of a disk. If will find in any opening depth of a rivet on a working limit, replace a disk.
- Depth of a head of a rivet:
- the standard: 1.6 mm (0.06 inches)
- working limit: 0.5 mm (0.02 inches)

Coupling cover
|
- Check a diafragmenny spring on excessive wear or damages.
- Check a press plate on wear or thermal spots.
- If malfunction is found, replace all detail. Do not assort it on a diaphragm and a press plate.

Flywheel
Check a surface contacting to a disk of coupling, on uncharacteristic wear or thermal spots. If necessary replace or repair.
Installation
|
Before assembly be convinced that the surface of a flywheel and a press plate is cleared and dried carefully up. |
|
|
- Establish a flywheel (1) on a cranked shaft and tighten to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling bolts (2) on which previously put hermetic. Special tool (A): 09924-17810. “A”: hermetic 99000-31110.
- Inhaling moment
- (а): 78 N • m (7.8 kg-m, 56.5 pounds foots) (G16 engine)
- (а): 70 N • m (7.0 kg-m, 50.5 pounds foots) (J20 engine)

- By means of the special tool (B) establish the bearing of a leading shaft on a flywheel (1). Special tool (B): 09925-98210.
|
|
- Level a disk of coupling with the flywheel center by means of the special tool (C), establish a cover of coupling (1) and bolts (2). Tighten bolts to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling.
- Special tool:
- (A): 09924-17811
- (C): 09923-36330 (G16 engine)
- (C): 09923-36320 (J20 engine)
- Inhaling moment
- (A): 23 N • m (2.3 kg-m, 16.5 pounds foots)

|
- At a tightening of bolts of a cover of coupling (2) compress a disk of coupling by a hand by means of the special tool (C) to center a disk.
- Gradually evenly tighten cover bolts in a diagonal order.
|
|
- Establish a clip (2) on a fork of switching off of coupling (1) and put greasing on a fork of switching off of coupling (1).
|
- Then establish a fork of switching off of coupling (1) and the bearing of switching off of coupling (4). “A”: greasing 99000-25010.
- Put a little greasing on a leading shaft (3). Then connect a transmission to the engine. See. Head Mechanical transmission (type 1). “B”: greasing 99000-25210.

Wrench turn a cranked shaft in a forward part and insert a leading shaft of a transmission (3) on a coupling disk so that shlitsa were hooked. |
