Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Weaken wheel nuts approximately on 180 ° (half of turn).

Lift the car.
Remove a wheel.

Never use heating to weaken a hard wheel as it can reduce service life of a wheel and damage wheel bearings.

Installation

Wheel nuts should be tightened in a certain sequence and to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, differently the wheel either a brake drum or a disk can be bent. Inhaling moment: a wheel nut (a) — 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds foots).

Before installation of wheels remove from a mounted surface of wheels and a brake drum or a disk corrosion educations by means of a rigid wire brush. If at installation of wheels there is no good contact of metal to metal of mounted surfaces, it can cause weakening of wheel nuts that further can lead to a wheel sletaniye at car movement.
