Steering lock (ignition switch)
Removal
|
|
- Remove a steering column (1). See in this Chapter Sections the Steering column (at not a cabriolet) and the Steering column (at a cabriolet).

|
- By means of the center puncher (1), weaken and remove fixing bolts (2) helmsmen of the lock.
|
|
|
Be careful not to damage the puncher aluminum parts of the steering lock. |
- Turn the ignition key in the situation "ACC" or "ON" and remove the steering lock from a steering column.
|
|
Installation
|
|
- Arrange an oblong opening of a steering shaft (2) in the middle of an opening in a column.
- Turn the ignition key in the situation "ACC" or "ON" and put the steering lock on a column
- Now turn the ignition key in the situation "LOCK" and take out from the lock.
- Combine the lock plug with an oblong opening of a steering shaft and повращайте a shaft to be convinced that it is blocked.

- Tighten new bolts until at them heads will not break off.
|
- Turn the ignition key in the situation "ACC" or "ON" and check that the steering shaft rotates smoothly. Also check operation of the lock.
